First Law of Thermodynamics

Hello everyone ,
Today here I will talking about most importantan concept ie First Law of Thermodynamics
The first law of thermodynamics is the application of the conservation of energy principle to heat and thermodynamic processes.

The First Law of Thermodynamics states that heat is a form of energy, and thermodynamic processes are therefore subject to the principle of conservation of energy. This means that heat energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can, however, be transferred from one location to another and converted to and from other forms of energy.

Thermodynamics is the branch of physics that deals with the relationships between heat and other forms of energy. In particular, it describes how thermal energy is converted to and from other forms of energy and how it affects matter.

“The First Law says that the internal energy of a system has to be equal to the work that is being done on the system, plus or minus the heat that flows in or out of the system and any other work that is done on the system,"

For a closed system the change in the internal energy of the system is considered to be due to a combination of heat added to the system and work done on the system. Taking \Delta U as a change in internal energy, one writes
\Delta U = Q\, + \, W
